What customers say?

“ Overall interior impression is superb, music not loud, lightining is not too bright, upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff members, we ordered carbonara and ice coffee, coffee was superb, we had a cold coffee with popcorn syrup, which waitress recommended, was spot on. Carbonara was a bit unusual as it had different type of bacon (cubes) rather than standard thinly-sliced. The flavour was unusual, but unique, with a marinated cucumber flavour. Overall service 5/5, Drinks 5/5 Food 4/5 Will be back for coffee & sweets for sure ”

“ I'm writing a review of a small restaurant at a hotel, or rather, a clubhouse. We went there twice: for dinner and breakfast. The prices are higher than anywhere else in Batumi. For dinner, we had shrimp rolls, a salad with suluguni and eggplant, a burger with truffle sauce, tartare, and schnitzel. Everything is made to order, which is important because all the dishes were incredibly fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and I haven't eaten such fresh and delicious rolls even in Moscow. There are eight of them, and each piece has a shrimp on it, served with freshly grated wasabi and ginger. The tartare was also excellent and delicious; the meat didn't seem quite raw; it seemed slightly marinated, as the texture wasn't raw, but fibrous. I liked the balance of flavors in my mouth and when I chewed, everything was also excellent. The schnitzel was delicious, the portion was large, the burger had a huge amount of caramelized onions, it was juicy, the bun was excellent, everything was good. I didn't like the eggplant and suluguni salad – the lettuce leaves were huge and in the same sauce, the eggplant was fried in a different sauce, the battered suluguni had a different flavor, there was no balance of flavors, everything seemed too complicated and poorly thought out. But everything else was delicious. I liked the breakfasts less, they were more like a B. We tried shakshuka – it turned out to be some kind of concoction; the tomato juice hadn't been evaporated, or they'd added water, it's unclear – the eggs were just floating in the liquid. I've never seen shakshuka like that before; it was more like egg and tomato soup; it's supposed to have a different consistency. I also had avocado toast – I didn't really like it, although the presentation was very beautiful. The avocado sauce itself was bland, either bitter or astringent. I got the feeling they mixed it with some greens, and the greens gave it a really strong flavor that overpowered the avocado. The white sauce on the plate was cheesy, albeit tasty, a bit sour. There were 1.5 quail eggs, and the caviar on them tasted pleasant. I didn't like the coffee, firstly, it was as big as an Americano, like an espresso, and it cost 6 lari—a high price for such a small cup. It would be fine if it were small, but it was very sour and bitter. Everything seemed beautiful, the interior design, but it was somehow dark, so you look at it like "wow," take a photo, and nothing is visible. In the evening, the restaurant is all lit up. I liked the service; the guys are great, they really try. The main menu is excellent—everything is delicious, well, almost, except for the eggplant salad. The breakfasts still need some work to reach the required standard. But overall, the experience was good. ”

“ We've been to your establishment a few times. Drinks are a bit overpriced. Pleasant atmosphere, decent service, attentive waiters, and delicious steaks. ”

“ Without joking, this place is the best in Batumi & even Tbilisi. Cocktails, interesting, sushi, damn so cozy moody(in a good way) and chilly in style. ”

“ Review of the Secret of Mandarin Hotel restaurant. I really enjoyed the food; it's one of the few places in Batumi where the dishes are flawless, balanced in ingredients, flavor, and portion size, and average in price for this type of establishment. The green salad is beyond reproach, a large portion, well-combined and seasoned, the beef medallions are very tender, and the fish soup with fresh vegetables (broccoli and zucchini, not potatoes) and fish is translucent and delicious. The cocktails were also a delight; we ordered from the menu and one upon request. The service is attentive and polite, they explain everything in detail, help with your selection, and the staff speaks Russian. We highly recommend it. ”

“ The lounge restaurant in Batumi truly has the best desserts around—Medovik, Tiramisu, and Apple Pie are all incredible. The sound quality here enhances the already cozy and dark vibe, making it a standout spot. Definitely a must-visit for a top-notch dessert experience. ”
